BTS member Jin is bringing the electrifying energy of his first solo tour to movie theaters across the globe this weekend, with RUNSEOKJIN_EPTOUR THE MOVIE premiering December 27–28 in cutting-edge immersive formats including ScreenX and 4DX.
The film captures highlights from his ‘RUN SEOKJIN EP. TOUR,’ spanning stops from Goyang, South Korea, to Amsterdam, Netherlands, offering fans a front-row seat to the artist’s dynamic stage presence and heartfelt performances.

Produced to showcase the full scope of Jin’s solo artistry, the concert film chronicles key moments from the tour, which launched earlier this year to critical acclaim and sold-out crowds. From elaborate stage productions and choreographed numbers to intimate acoustic segments, RUNSEOKJIN_EPTOUR THE MOVIE aims to recreate the live experience for both those who attended the tour and audiences who were unable to secure tickets. The immersive formats elevate the viewing experience: ScreenX expands the action across three walls for a panoramic view, while 4DX incorporates motion seats, wind, scent, and vibration effects to sync with on-screen sequences.
“Jin has always prioritized connecting deeply with his fans, and this film is an extension of that commitment,” a representative from the film’s distribution team stated. “We wanted to ensure that no matter where fans are in the world, they can feel like they’re right there in the arena, sharing in every moment of joy, passion, and creativity that defined the tour.”
Tickets for the limited theatrical run are now available for purchase globally via the official film website at jinthemovie.com, as well as through major ticketing partners including Fandango in the United States and AMC Theatres, which is screening the film across hundreds of its locations. In select regions, advance ticket sales have already seen strong demand, with multiple showtimes added to accommodate high volume.

In Japan, the release includes exclusive offerings designed to enhance the fan experience. Special merchandise bundles featuring tour-themed T-shirts, collectible popcorn bags, and limited-edition photocards are available at participating cinemas while supplies last. The country’s ARMY communities have also organized group watch parties and countdown events, with social media platforms lighting up with messages like “Can’t wait to see our Jinnie on the big screen” and “Counting down the minutes until we’re all together again for this.”
Beyond Japan, fan initiatives are gaining momentum worldwide. In Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia – including the Philippines – local ARMY chapters are coordinating meetups, themed viewing events, and digital campaigns to celebrate the release. Many are sharing photos and videos of decorated theater lobbies, custom fan art, and group gatherings, highlighting the global unity that defines the BTS fandom.
The film’s launch marks a significant milestone in Jin’s solo career, following the success of his EP releases and individual collaborations. It also underscores the growing trend of bringing live music experiences to cinemas, allowing artists to reach broader audiences and create shared moments even after tours conclude.
As the weekend premiere approaches, anticipation continues to build, with industry analysts noting that the film’s combination of star power, immersive technology, and dedicated fan engagement positions it as a standout theatrical event for the end of 2025.
