December 28, 2025 – Huening Kai, the youngest member of global K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), has achieved a remarkable milestone on social media, racking up over 1.2 million followers on his new personal Instagram account just six days after its launch on December 22.
The account, @kaikamal_, takes its name from his full legal name Kai Kamal Huening and marks the completion of TXT’s presence on the platform with all five members now maintaining individual profiles.

Huening Kai’s debut post featured eight photos tied to his Christmas cover of Justin Bieber’s Only Thing I Ever Get for Christmas, released the same day on YouTube and SoundCloud. The caption, “An angel has appeared,” quickly resonated with fans globally, driving massive engagement alongside a subsequent reel sharing snippets of the cover’s cozy, pet-themed music video.

“The response has been overwhelming,” a representative from Big Hit Music stated. “Huening Kai wanted to create a space to connect more closely with MOA [TXT’s fandom] and share personal moments alongside his music. This milestone reflects the deep bond between him and fans worldwide.”
The singer’s rapid follower growth aligns with TXT’s expanding global influence. In 2024, bandmate Soobin ranked among the top five fastest-growing K-pop Instagram accounts, and the group is set to return to the Philippines in March 2026 for their third fan meet at the MOA Arena.
Huening Kai’s cover of the Bieber classic has also garnered praise for its warm, heartfelt interpretation, with the video showcasing his playful dynamic with his cat Aqua and intimate holiday-themed visuals.
