BELIFT LAB Secures Legal Victories Against Stalkers and Abusers Targeting K-Pop Group ENHYPEN

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – December 29, 2025 – BELIFT LAB, the entertainment agency representing global K-pop act ENHYPEN, announced today that it has secured significant legal wins against individuals responsible for stalking, intrusion, and abuse targeting the group’s members. The agency detailed a series of enforcement actions carried out under South Korea’s comprehensive violence prevention and privacy protection laws, reaffirming its zero-tolerance stance toward behavior that endangers the safety and well-being of its artists.

In a formal statement released this morning, BELIFT LAB confirmed that multiple cases have been resolved through coordinated efforts with local law enforcement and legal counsel. Among the outcomes are deferred prosecution agreements for a group of individuals found guilty of persistent photo-snapping and tailing of ENHYPEN members in public spaces, including residential areas and transit routes. Under the terms of these agreements, the offenders are required to complete mandatory counseling programs focused on stalking prevention and respect for personal privacy, with charges to be dismissed upon successful completion.

Additionally, two individuals responsible for unauthorized entry into the group’s designated dormitory complex earlier this year have been fined under South Korea’s Act on the Punishment of Violent Acts and the Protection of Victims. The fines, totaling 3 million KRW (approximately 2,200 USD) per individual, were accompanied by court-ordered restrictions prohibiting contact with the group or access to any of their official facilities or event venues.

The agency also addressed systemic issues contributing to safety risks, including the unauthorized distribution of ENHYPEN’s private schedules. These leaked documents have repeatedly drawn large, unregulated crowds to airports, concert venues, and filming locations – creating hazards for both the group and the general public. BELIFT LAB noted that investigations into the source of these leaks are ongoing, with law enforcement currently pursuing leads on individuals suspected of sharing confidential information through underground online communities.

Beyond physical safety concerns, the statement highlighted action taken against individuals responsible for verbal abuse at official fan events. Earlier this month, three attendees at a fan sign in Seoul were immediately banned from all future ENHYPEN activities after being observed directing derogatory language and threats toward group members. The agency has since filed formal complaints with relevant authorities, as well as with social media and platform providers hosting content containing targeted hate speech.

“Online abuse and harassment cause profound harm to our artistsmental and emotional health, and we will not allow such behavior to go unaddressed,” the statement read. BELIFT LAB confirmed that complaints have been submitted to multiple international platforms, resulting in the removal of over 150 pieces of violating content and the suspension of dozens of accounts linked to coordinated harassment campaigns.

The news has elicited strong reactions from ENHYPEN’s global fan community, known as ENGENEs. Social media platforms have seen an outpouring of support for the group, with fans expressing heartbreak over the mental toll of sustained abuse while praising the agency’s decisive action. Many have shared messages encouraging fellow fans to report suspicious behavior or unauthorized content through official channels.

BELIFT LAB emphasized that it is expanding its protective protocols in partnership with HYBE Corporation’s dedicated artist protection portal, which allows fans and members of the public to submit reports securely and confidentially. The agency also called on the broader community to respect the boundaries of artists, noting that sustainable fan culture depends on mutual respect and commitment to safety.

We remain fully committed to safeguarding our artists so they can continue creating music and connecting with fans around the world,” the statement concluded. “We thank ENGENEs for their unwavering support and urge everyone to work with us to ensure a safe environment for all.”
