The preview offered the first glimpse of the show, featuring lavish hanok settings, high-stakes dinner sequences, and charged on-screen moments between the leads. IU portrays Sung Hee-joo, an ambitious heiress who enters a contract marriage with Yi Ahn, a prince overlooked by his family played by Byeon Woo-seok. The story follows the pair as they navigate efforts to break down class barriers while discovering love.
Helmed by director Park Jun-hwa, the 12-episode series is scheduled to premiere in April 2026, airing simultaneously on MBC and streaming on Disney+. Early teasers have already generated significant buzz among fans, who are anticipating the chemistry between the two popular stars.
