Global sportswear brand Skechers has sparked widespread fan excitement across Southeast Asia after posting cryptic teaser content that strongly hints at a partnership with three members of K-pop powerhouse SEVENTEEN: Dokyeom, Seungkwan, and Dino.
On January 5, Skechers’ official Instagram accounts for Singapore and Malaysia shared a Video clip showing three men dressed in casual streetwear and the brand’s latest sneaker styles, positioned against a simple blue backdrop. The caption read: “Who’s the new ambassador going with us? Take a guess.” While the video did not show the celebrities’ faces, fans quickly identified the trio based on distinct physical traits and styling details. The tallest individual, dressed in a beige outfit, was matched to Dokyeom thanks to his recognizable hairstyle and even his signature ear shape, which fans joked was impossible to miss. The person in the middle was linked to Seungkwan based on his frame, while the shortest member was widely believed to be Dino.

Shortly after the initial teaser was shared, Skechers Thailand also posted similar content on its social media channels, suggesting the partnership will roll out across multiple Southeast Asian markets. The timing aligns with a busy year for the group, which is preparing for new music and performances in 2026, following recent promotions for their sub-unit Booseoksoochan, composed of Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi.
As of press time, neither Skechers nor PLEDIS Entertainment, SEVENTEEN’s management agency, has issued an official statement confirming the collaboration. However, fans of the group known as Carats have taken to social media to express their excitement, sharing memes, fan edits, and predictions about the upcoming campaign. If confirmed, this would mark the latest high-profile endorsement for the members, who have previously partnered with brands across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle categories.
Skechers has a history of working with popular K-pop artists to reach younger audiences across Asia, making this rumored partnership a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the region.
