KickFlip has treated fans to a surprise drop of exclusive “Flip.Zip” stage photos via their WeFlip fan app in the early hours of Saturday morning, setting social media ablaze with chatter about the act’s bold new styling and upcoming plans.
Launched in January 2025 through SBS’s hit survival program LOUD, KickFlip has carved out a unique niche in the K-pop landscape with their skateboarding-inspired sound and visual identity a creative direction that shines through in the newly released imagery. Standout looks from the photo set include lead vocalist Keiju’s striking contrast of bubblegum-pink hair against a crisp white tailored blazer, main dancer Juwang’s edgy black harness ensemble that complements his dynamic stage presence, and maknae (youngest member) Donghyeon’s tactical leather vest that adds a gritty, modern edge to his silhouette.
Notably, the group continues to perform as six members while vocalist Amaru remains on a health-related hiatus, first announced in September 2025. JYP Entertainment confirmed in a brief statement alongside the photo drop that Amaru is focusing on recovery and has been closely involved in planning for the group’s upcoming activities.
The timely release arrives as momentum builds for KickFlip’s first-ever fancon tour, WeFlip: Ride the Wave, which kicks off January 17 at Seoul’s Olympic Hall. Early bird tickets sold out within minutes of going on sale last month, with additional dates in Tokyo, Bangkok, and Jakarta already announced through official channels.
