BTS member Jin recently shared photos on Weverse holding his Golden Disc Award trophy, delighting fans worldwide. He received the Upbit Popularity Award (Male) at the 40th Golden Disc Awards ceremony held on January 10 in Taipei, Taiwan. The recognition marks Jin as the first K-pop male soloist to top the fan-voted category.

The award follows Jin’s successful 2024 solo album Happy, which achieved strong chart performance both in Korea and internationally.
