BTS member Jimin continues to set milestones in global music charts, remaining the only K-pop solo artist to have reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Artist 100 ranking. The achievement, first recorded on April 8, 2023, placed Jimin at the top of Billboard’s comprehensive artist chart, which measures overall performance across sales, streaming, radio airplay, and fan engagement.

A recently shared Billboard graphic highlighting K-pop acts that have topped the Artist 100 shows groups such as BTS, BLACKPINK, and ENHYPEN reaching the summit but Jimin stands alone as the only soloist among them. Fans have celebrated the distinction as a defining moment for K-pop’s solo market presence on Western charts.
Jimin’s chart history extends beyond the Artist 100. His debut single “Like Crazy” previously topped the Billboard Hot 100, marking the first time a Korean soloist achieved the feat with an original Korean-language track. He has also led multiple Billboard category charts, reinforcing his reputation as a global streaming powerhouse.

Industry analysts note that Jimin’s sustained chart performance highlights the expanding influence of K-pop soloists internationally. As BTS members pursue individual projects during the group’s hiatus, Jimin’s record-setting success continues to raise expectations for future solo ventures across the genre.
