AHOF has scored their first major industry award at this year’s D Awards, edging out top contenders including by a staggerinALPHA DRIVE ONE margin of 406 million total votes.
The win marks a pivotal milestone for the rookie group, whose rapid ascent has been fueled by a dedicated global fanbase known as FOHA, Voting activity peaked in the final 72 hours before the January 27 announcement, with supporters launching coordinated “jam grinding” sessions on the UPICK mobile app a strategy that involved round-the-clock engagement to maximize vote counts per user. In a rare show of cross-fandom solidarity, supporters of veteran K-pop group EXO also joined the push, citing AHOF’s respectful nods to genre pioneers in their choreography and musical style.

As celebrations continue across social media with the hashtag #AHOFFirstWin trending in 23 countries, attention is shifting to group member JL’s bid for individual recognition. Currently ranked third in the UPICK Global Choice (Boy) category with 537 million votes, FOHA chapters worldwide are ramping up efforts ahead of voting closure on January 29 and the ceremony scheduled for February 11 in Seoul.

In related developments, UPICK announced today that total votes across all D Awards categories surpassed 2.8 billion this year – a 32% increase from 2025 – with mobile contributions accounting for 91% of all participation.
