Aespa Takes Historic Step into Gocheok Sky Dome with Fresh ‘Lemonade’ Era

Aespa is stepping onto one of Korea’s most iconic stages. The SM Entertainment quartet announced Thursday that they will headline the Gocheok Sky Dome for the first time this August as part of their ambitious new world tour.

During a press conference at the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, members expressed genuine excitement and a touch of disbelief. “We used to watch concerts at Gocheok Dome as fans,” leader Karina shared. “To think we’re now performing there with our second full album… it still doesn’t feel real.” She credited their devoted fanbase, MYs, for making the milestone possible and vowed to deliver even stronger energy in return.

Titled SYNK: COMPLæXITY, the tour kicks off with two nights at Gocheok Sky Dome on August 7 and 8. From there, aespa will head to Taipei Dome, followed by a sweeping run through five Latin American cities including São Paulo, Santiago, Lima, and Mexico City and ten North American stops such as New York, Atlanta, and Washington. European dates are scheduled for early 2027.

The tour coincides with the release of their second studio album LEMONADE, dropping on May 29. Members described the project as the beginning of a bold new chapter in their expansive metaverse storyline Season 3 infused with what they playfully call a “new sour taste” (신맛). Winter emphasized the album’s role in expanding their world-building, promising fans a deeper, more evolved sonic and visual experience.

This comeback arrives just four months after aespa wrapped their previous world tour at Tokyo Dome, signaling the group’s relentless global momentum. To celebrate the release, aespa is launching pop-up stores and experiential events across Seoul’s IFC Mall and Han River parks through June 7, with simultaneous activations in Los Angeles, New York, Shenzhen, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Taipei.

As one of K-pop’s leading fourth-generation acts, aespa continues to blend cutting-edge technology, strong live performances, and evolving artistry. Their upcoming Gocheok Dome shows are expected to sell out quickly, further cementing the group’s status as stadium-level headliners both at home and abroad.
