Medical evaluation determined he requires inpatient care, including rest and fluid therapy, to prevent potential complications such as kidney damage.

Rhabdomyolysis is a medical condition which causes rapid muscle breakdown after people suffer extreme physical activities or dehydration or injuries. The agency suspended Yeojun’s upcoming promotional activities because he needs strict rest and monitoring through his recovery period which normally needs less treatment than what he requires.

The decision made by UNCORE supports the artist’s well-being because all upcoming events will be rescheduled to provide proper time for him to recover. The agency confirmed that Yeojun has stable health and will start his recovery process when doctors give him medical permission.

Fans have flooded social media with supportive messages, trending get-well hashtags and emphasizing the importance of artist welfare. The situation has brought back major conversations about how the music industry requires its rookie artists to work their way through demanding touring schedules and promotional periods.

The exhibition of physical injuries among idols has grown more pronounced since global touring became more widespread, which has compelled entertainment agencies to reevaluate how they manage artist workloads and monitor their health. The entertainment industry expects UNCORE to make temporary schedule changes for the group while they keep their regular activities.

Meanwhile, health experts stress that early diagnosis and rest are key to full recovery.
As Yeojun focuses on rehabilitation, supporters continue to express optimism that the hiatus will enable a safe and complete return to the stage, underscoring the growing emphasis on sustainable artist health in K-pop’s fast-paced environment.
