According to the report of Billboard. BELIFT LAB has responded to the buzz about Heeseung leaving ENHYPEN, saying the decision came after a lot of honest talks about what’s best for both him and the group.

In their statement to the press, the agency called it the “most fulfilling approach” for everyone, and said they spent a long time discussing future goals and artistic direction with all the members.

BELIFT told Billboard in a statement, “We concluded that allowing HEESEUNG to focus fully on his career as a solo artist, rather than pursuing solo activities within the team, would be the most fulfilling approach for both ENHYPEN and HEESEUNG.”Heeseung has been a standout since ENHYPEN’s debut in 2020 on I-Land, known for his vocals and stage presence. Now, he’s heading down his own path as a solo artist, but he’s still signed with BELIFT LAB. ENHYPEN will keep promoting as a six-member group: Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki.

Fans all over the world have a lot to say some surprised, some sad, some just curious about this big change. People in the industry point out that it’s not unusual for K-pop groups to shift as artists start exploring their own musical styles, whether inside or outside their groups.

BELIFT LAB stressed that they made this call with respect for both the group’s future and Heeseung’s own dreams. They’re backing both ENHYPEN’s activities and Heeseung’s solo plans.

Earlier this year, ENHYPEN dropped their seventh EP, The Sin: Vanish, which turned out to be their last release as a seven-piece. The album got a lot of global attention and really solidified their reputation as one of the top groups of their time.

Now, with six members, ENHYPEN is moving forward, and fans are watching closely to see what’s next for both the group and for Heeseung as he starts his solo journey.
