BTS just dropped the trailer and cover art for their fifth studio album, “ARIRANG.” It’s a big deal the whole group is finally back together after finishing their military service. You can feel the anticipation.
The trailer’s pretty cool. It takes inspiration from a story The Washington Post ran way back in 1896 about seven Korean teens who recorded one of the first versions of “Arirang,” the iconic folk song, in the US. There’s a clear focus on heritage, identity, and the number seven, which always seems to tie back to BTS and their bond.
On the album cover, you see all seven RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook looking sharp in suits with a dramatic backdrop. It really sets the tone: BTS is entering a powerful new chapter.

Pre-orders are already open, and the album officially drops March 20, 2026. Fans have been waiting for this, and you can really sense how much it means. It’s the first time the group’s putting out a full album together since everyone wrapped up their service.
There’s more. On March 21, the group’s hosting a global livestream event from Seoul, and it’s exclusive to Netflix. It should be a huge celebration and a way for BTS to reconnect with fans everywhere.
After the album comes out, BTS hits the road for their “Arirang World Tour,” kicking off April 9 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea.
Naturally, ARMY is buzzing. The excitement is everywhere fans have missed seeing all seven together and can’t wait for what’s next.
