EL CAPITXN Urges Fans to Support Heeseung Following ENHYPEN Departure
South Korean producer and artist EL CAPITXN spoke up about all the online rumors and backlash after Heeseung left K-pop group ENHYPEN. He asked fans to show some understanding and support while Heeseung makes this big change.
On March 12 KST, EL CAPITXN posted on Instagram. He said he was frustrated fans kept messaging him, blaming him for Heeseung’s decision to leave. He made it clear he isn’t the one behind it, and honestly, he just wants people to stop pointing fingers.
Even though his post sounded pretty blunt, EL CAPITXN’s main point was simple: focus on supporting Heeseung. He told fans to respect the singer’s choice and to “embrace him first rather than throwing stones.”

“Stop sending me stories about Lee Heeseung, you f*cking bastards. The kid can be like that. If you’re real fans, hug him first before throwing rocks. Why do you keep blaming me, you stupid bastards?” the producer said (as translated via @sugatheartist on X.
Heeseung needs encouragement right now as he steps into the next chapter of his career.
Not long before EL CAPITXN’s post, BELIFT LAB confirmed Heeseung’s departure. He’s staying with the agency as a solo artist, but ENHYPEN will move forward as a six-member group Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. The group first got together on the 2020 survival show I-Land.
Heeseung’s exit caught fans off guard. He’s been a big part of ENHYPEN since their debut, both as a vocalist and performer, so people have a lot of feelings about this sudden change.
Still, people who follow K-pop closely say these kinds of career moves are happening more often now. Artists are branching out, juggling both group and solo work.
As everything plays out, EL CAPITXN’s message really comes down to one thing: artists deserve a little empathy and respect while they figure out what’s next.
