Lollapalooza Chicago just dropped its 2026 lineup, and it’s packed. They’re bringing in a wild mix of big-name stars and up-and-coming artists from all over the world, covering pretty much every genre you can think of.

They made the announcement on March 17. Right up top, you’ve got headliners like Charli XCX, Lorde, and Jennie Kim. The list doesn’t stop there John Summit, Olivia Dean, Tate McRae, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The xx are all in the mix.
International acts are everywhere this year Lil Uzi Vert, Ethel Cain, The Chainsmokers, Clipse, Wet Leg, aespa, Ado, and SB19, just to name a few.

This lineup means a lot, especially for Asian artists. Jennie is about to become the first female K-pop soloist to headline Lollapalooza Chicago. That’s huge for K-pop and honestly, for music in general. Plus, SB19 is making history too they’re the first Filipino group to ever play the Chicago stage, and fans from the Philippines and beyond are fired up.
The festival’s pulling off a nice blend of global pop, hip-hop, electronic, and alternative rock. John Summit’s repping Chicago’s EDM scene, while The Smashing Pumpkins bring that classic local rock energy.
Tickets go on sale soon. Presale starts March 19 at 10 a.m. CT, and they open it up to everyone else an hour later.
People are already buzzing. Lollapalooza 2026 looks set to be one of the most diverse, international festivals Chicago’s ever seen.
