LNGSHOT Breaks Spotify Records with ‘Moonwalkin’ After Explosive Debut
Newly debuted boy group LNGSHOT is rapidly emerging as one of the most talked-about fifth-generation acts after their track “Moonwalkin’” achieved record-breaking streaming numbers on Spotify. The four-member group Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin, and Louis officially debuted on January 13 under Jay Park’s MORE VISION label with their first EP, SHOT CALLERS, showcasing a performance-heavy style rooted in hip-hop swagger and sharp choreography.
Less than two weeks after release, “Moonwalkin’” has reportedly become the most-streamed song by a fifth-generation boy group in daily Spotify counts. The EP itself surpassed 2.7 million daily streams on January 23, crossing over 24 million total plays in record time for a rookie act.

Viral dance challenges have further fueled the song’s momentum. Clips featuring Ryul’s collaboration with TNX’s Oh Sung-jun and Louis dancing alongside WAKER’s Leo have spread widely across TikTok and Instagram Reels, introducing the group to broader audiences beyond core K-pop fandom spaces.

With streaming growth accelerating and domestic chart rankings steadily rising, LNGSHOT is now positioned as a strong contender for upcoming music show wins marking an impressive start to their career and signaling a competitive new force in the fifth-generation landscape.
